As you remember from Book 1, The Boy Who Fell into the Sky, Akio moved to the New Tokyo star system with his family where they settled on the planet Yokohama. The Shadow Warriors begins two years after Jeff was lost in the wormhole collapse, so it happens simultaneously with Book 2, The Outcasts.

I'm also working on a series of short stories that are set 10 years after the events in The Shadow Warriors. These short stories are going to be published as episodes, and you get get the first one for free on my web site.

If you buy the paperback version of The Shadow Warriors, you’ll notice that the cover is different than the eBook. That’s because I’m offering a special edition cover for the paperback for a limited time. When the promotion is over, the paperback will have the same cover as the eBook.

At this time I’d like to thank those of my readers who expressed support and well wishes through the last year and a half. I know that during that time I more or less seemed to disappear. Life was just throwing some extremely difficult things at me. In fact, I can honestly say that I’ve come through some of the most difficult days of my life.

But things are MUCH better and I can’t tell you how much it means to me that there are people out there who will express positive support for me when I’m struggling. I’m extremely grateful for all of you.

Already people are asking when Book 4 will be out. My guess is that it will come out in 2017. I’m already more than halfway done writing it. And I’ll give you a hint: if you ever wondered what happened to Jeff Bowman, you’ll get the answer in Book 4. But that’s all I’ll say. No spoilers!
